Hello, my name is Zana. I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist AMFT (AMFT 144545) and am supervised by Channing Gredvig, LCSW (LCSW64651). I have a master’s in science of counseling from University of Phoenix. In therapy I provide a safe non-judgmental space for clients, where they can develop self-compassion and self-esteem.
Clinical Experience
My experience as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist has been providing services to clients from marginalized populations who are dealing with complex issues, including involvement in the criminal justice system, co-occurring disorders (mental health/ health problems/ substance use), trauma, and helping families cope with these complex issues. I am a certified substance use disorder counselor with experience working with teens, adults, clients with pain, and families.
My expertise is helping clients cope with depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, substance use, and emotional dysregulation. I use motivational interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, Psychoeducation, and Mindfulness. I am passionate about working with children of all ages, adolescents, couples, and families.
