Katherine Winship, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Clinical Supervisor

My name is Katherine Winship, LCSW, and I am a Licensed Social Worker, LCSW # 69759. Usually I go by Kathy.  I earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of Letters at Wesleyan University and then went on to earn my Master’s in Social Welfare at University of California, Berkeley.  I have advanced training in Integrative Regulation Therapy (iRT) and Infant Mental Health, and am currently a candidate for endorsement as an Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist.  In my work, I utilize an attachment lens – considering each person’s early experiences with those around them – to see who they are in their relationships and in the world.

Clinical Experience

I have worked in a variety of settings in past 15 years - telehealth, community-based agencies, homes, schools and primary care.  In particular, I have extensive experience with young children and families involved in child welfare and/or foster care systems, families in which at least one member has a special need as well as individuals and families who have experienced trauma related to domestic violence, immigration, substance use of family members and other issues.

Additional clinical specialties include working with parents for behavioral management and/or parental stress; perinatal mental health;  individuals with anxiety and children from birth to teens.
