Hi, my name is Madeline and I am an Associate Professional Counselor (APCC17908) supervised by More Ramot, LMFT (LMFT113081). I have a Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in both Clinical Mental Health and Marriage and Family Therapy from Palo Alto University.

Clinical Experience

As an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive support to individuals of all ages grappling with a spectrum of mood-related challenges, encompassing anxiety disorders, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and substance use disorders. My professional journey has afforded me the valuable opportunity to work with diverse populations and individuals across a wide range of age groups, fostering a nuanced understanding of the unique struggles each person faces.

My therapeutic philosophy is grounded in an integrative approach, drawing upon the evidence-based principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address maladaptive thought patterns and behaviors, while strategically employing motivational interviewing techniques to enhance intrinsic motivation for positive change. Furthermore, I incorporate elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to equip clients with essential skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. Central to my practice is an unwavering commitment to a strengths-based perspective, where I actively collaborate with clients to identify, explore, and leverage their inherent strengths and resources as powerful catalysts for resilience and effective management of their mental health challenges.

Recognizing the dynamic nature of the field, I am deeply committed to ongoing professional development through consistent engagement in continuous training programs and regular clinical supervision, ensuring that my practice remains informed by the latest research and best practices.
